Importance of Blood Donation:
Blood donation is one of the most significant contribution that a person can make towards the society. It is not harmful for an adult person to donate blood. The body of the donor can regenerate the blood within few days. It poses no threat to the metabolism of the body.

Lions Club of Muar Mahaledang undertake to organize blood donation campaign annually on different occasions and make it as one of the club’s annual signature project in supporting our blood banks whenever are running short of required blood. By organizing such blood donation campaign we are able help them to enrich their capacity.

Muar Lions Renal Centre

FUND RAISING FOR MUAR LIONS RENAL CENTRE

Muar Lions Renal Centre is a well known non_profit provider of haemodialysis for the poor patients with Chronic kidney failure. Muar
Lions Renal centre was established in April 1994 and has now progressed to become one of the largest N.G.o. To date our Hemodialysis centre
has 53 machines, serving more than 150 patients who are treated three times a week paying a minimum of RM35.00 to RM50.00 per Haemodialysis
treatment. Patients who have no income is fu[y subsidies by our centre.’

For the past 18 years, we have provided various medical care and financial help for the patients to lighten their burden.
Our centre being a non-profit undertaking, all our funds are solely used for the benefits of poor patients. with the high rate of maintenance to some old machines and also due to the increase in medical cost we rrereuy seek your financial aid to replace old machines.

We depend solely on kind friends, associates and general public to help us. we.sincerely seek your kind donation to ease the financial burden. we are registered with the Registrar of societies and we will duly acknowledge donations with an official Tax Exemption Receipt which will benefits you with your Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri submissions.

Project Name : Education Aids & Cultural Activities For Poor Students in Under-Enrolment Schools
Project Description :

1. Objective of the Signature Project
To aid the poor students studying in SRJK(C) in Muar rural areas, by sponsoring mini library with story books and reference books as well as school uniforms and school bags.

This project is held in conjunction with mid autumn festival so that all the rural areas students get to know and understand the culture of Tanglung Festival too. We prepared traditional lanterns and mooncakes, to be given to all those poor students together with “Lantern Riddles” activity.

All in all, we hope that this project will bring love, joy and comfort to those underprivileged.

We started with only one school(SRJK (C) Wee Sin, Bukit Pasir, Muar) with 20 students in Year 2013.

Up until 2016, we now served 11 schools in Bukit Pasir and Pagoh area with total of 350 poor students.

Our goal is to cover the whole Muar rural areas schools in the near future.
