Objective of the significant/signature Project

Our Club loves to work with under privileged children. We wish to give our caring hearts to all these children by providing them with Food, Education and most importantly sharing joy with them.

On 20th August 2016, our club members together with some friends of Lions took 35 children ranging from the age of 3 to 16, from the Good Samaritan Homes in Klang out for lunch at Bekerley Garden, Klang. We provided them with Lunch and held two educational talks for the children. One talk was on Internet Safety & another one on how to save our environment. We had Q&A sessions and many prizes were given away for the correct answers. The homes had also requested for some stationeries like table sharpeners & calculators. We presented food stuffs like sweets & biscuits to this home too. It was an enjoyable afternoon spent with the children and good fellowship for all our club members and some friends of Lions.

Critical success factor of this project. Why and how the project can be sustained?
The success factors are mainly on getting sponsors to subsidize our projects. At the same time our own members will help to donate gifts, prizes for games and most importantly, members’ cooperation and participation. Besides that, we also invite friends & other NGOs to assist in most of our functions. These are the key factors in sustaining our activities eventhough we are a very small club.
